You’ve heard it before: List your home early in the year. VStv’s meteorologist Tyler Southard is happy to report that now it may have a lot to do with the weather as well. Based on an analysis of supply, demand and sellers’ outcomes in “Zillow Talk: The New Rules of Real Estate,” it’s been revealed that the magic window to list your home is mid-March to mid-April. But the authors went one step further to determine the exact weeks you should list in different parts of the country. Turns out, the best time to list follows weather patterns. Generally, the data shows homes sold when the weather starts to warm up (sounds like May here) sell around 15 % faster and for 2 % more than the average listing. For a copy, click here.



Few things turn browsers into customers like video. And just in time for the summer tourism season, we've launched our "free" WiFi service for downtown Camden visitors in partnership with Redzone, and it's loaded with video clips... from local News, Weather, Sports and Events to complete shopping, dining and lodging directories. Participating advertisers appear in rotation as the ONLY banner on the page that appears on visitors' cellphones or mobile devices once they enter the village proper. Plus for those advertisers on VStv's other video platforms, we include a 5-second pre-roll on our “News Brief” and “Weather Brief” videos. In just a few short months, we’ve surpassed 2,500 “likes” and regularly Reach >27,000 people with our popular posts. But it’s the Engagement that really impresses us… 17,000+. That’s up 34% (!) in just the past month! Meanwhile over on Twitter, we can now boast more than 340 Followers and… are you ready... more than 25,500 impressions in April alone! Clearly, the social media set likes what it sees at VStv.

*”Engagement” is how many people actively repost and talk about what they see on your Facebook page.
